Gucci Mane To Celebrate One Year Out Of Jail By Releasing Drop Top Wop Project This Week

The Metro Boomin-produced album will be out on May 26.

On May 26 last year Gucci Mane was released from jail after serving two years on a firearms charge. Gucci has today announced that he will release his Drop Top Wop project on Friday to mark the one year anniversary of his freedom.

Due on May 26, the Metro Boomin-produced project consists of 10 tracks and will feature guests Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Offset, and Young Dolph.

The announcement was made via Gucci Mane's Instagram alongside the album's hand-written tracklist. A note in the caption suggests the album will be available at 10:17 a.m. A "Gucci Boomin" is listed as the album's executive producer.

Gucci Mane's most recent release was 2016's The Return of East Atlanta Santa.
