Kamaiyah’s “Build You Up” Video Is A Throwback To ’90s Fun

Kamaiyah is all smiles and primary colors in her new video for "Build You Up." The video has the Oakland rapper having a ball in her hometown while surrounded by nothing but positive energy. The Damiën Sandoval-directed visual harkens back to '90s rap visuals like Queen Latifah's "U.N.I.T.Y."

This is Kamaiyah's first new music since her 2016 album A Good Night In The Ghetto. The rapper was recently featured in XXL's Freshman 2017 class.
