Seven years ago, Lil B announced a project called Black Ken. The project never dropped but, in the years since the announcement, the Berkeley rapper has an immeasurable effect on rap — from the way it's marketed on the internet to the enduring off-kilter sound that has now found a place online and on the Billboard charts.
