OG Ron C And DJ Candlestick Chop Thundercat’s Drunk

The Chopstars OG Ron C and DJ Candlestick just dropped Drank, their chopped not slopped take on Thundercat’s third album Drunk. The duo slowed down Thundercat’s project, originally released back in February, emphasizing his infamous bass skills in a way that hasn't been heard before. On tracks like "Them Changes," Thundercat’s fast finger-picking and layering gets broken down so listeners can admire the different layers of the production in a new way. "I've always been into slowing down creative music and coming up with off the wall ideas to help expand the Chopnotslop genre. Thundercat's Drunk project falls right into the mix of that goal," DJ Candlestick told The FADER. "Of course we had to rename it Drank for the culture."
