Today is the third anniversary of Flying Lotus’ album You’re Dead!, and to commemorate the project DJ Candlestick delivered a chopped not slopped version of “Dead Man’s Tetris” appropriately titled “Purple Man’s Tetris.” The original song features Snoop Dogg and Captain Murphy, FlyLo’s rap alter-ego. We all know Lotus to be a man capable of creating complex, multi-layered songs, so the style lends itself well to Candlestick’s slowed down version.
