Swift took cues from several iconic visual moments for her new video.

August 27, 2017

During the 2017 VMAs, Taylor Swift premiered the video for her new single "Look What You Made Me Do." The video features Swift encountering and reckoning with past "versions" of herself over a series of scenes, a few of them taking place in a graveyard, during a bank robbery, inside a super nice mansion, and on a jet runway. While watching the video, a few iconic visual references came to mind — peep a few of them below.

Nobody coordinates a music video with all of the best versions of herself better than Queen Bey.

...And the mansion scenes from the "Formation" video

Taylor seems to have watched Lemonade (and Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi").
