Today, September 14, would have been Amy Winehouse's 34th birthday. The singer sadly passed away in 2011 but her music lives on and has inspired a new generation of artists. To celebrate her music and life, Gallant has teamed up with chart topping U.K. pop star Dua Lipa to perform a live cover of Amy's "Tears Dry On Their Own." The pair put their all into the Back To Black classic, singing into one each others eyes in the atmospheric studio clip.

In a quote obtained exclusively by The FADER, Dua Lipa said: "I loved working on this song with Gallant, he’s so talented. I was so excited to have the opportunity to work with him, he’s a true artist through and through."

The "Tears Dry On Their Own" cover is part of Gallant's In The Room series, which has previously seen him work with Sufjan Stevens and John Legend.

The R&B singer was happy to add Dua Lipa to the list: "Dua is a fantastic artist and I was shocked to hear she wanted to do and episode of In The Room with me. I think we created a special moment together."
