Last night, Marilyn Manson's set for his headlining show at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York ended early due to an emergency. The singer-songwriter was in the middle of performing "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” when a large stage prop of guns came crashing down on top of him. A team of venue workers immediately rushed out to retrieve him from under the structure.
According to various fans at the scene of the incident, Manson remained motionless on the stage for about 15 minutes before he was covered with a sheet and wheeled off on a stretcher. A representative for Manson confirmed the injury with Pitchfork and stated that he is currently being treated at a local hospital.
It's unclear how exactly the prop became displaced, but you can watch the incident in a fan recorded video, below. We will update this post with more information as this story develops.
