In an interview at the Forbes Under 30 summit in Boston, Kendrick Lamar sat down for a live interview, and at one point voiced his support for former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

When responding to a question about the impact he wanted have on future generations, Kendrick brought up Kaepernick's protest. "[Kaepernick] wants to stand for something," Lamar said. "Simple as that. You don’t look at the moment, whether it’s gonna work or not. No, you look at what the next generation is gonna receive from it."
