The December 3-dated New York Times crossword puzzle featured a very relevant and unusual six-letter answer. On NewYorkTimesCrossword.Net, as a solution for the clue "Hybrid music genre of the 2010s," the answer is listed as "emorap." The subgenre has been around since the '90s but, in the past year, has rose to prominence around the music of Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Peep, who passed away in November at the age of 21.
