After announcing the upcoming release of her Pop 2 mixtape, Charli XCX has released a new single titled "Unlock It," featuring Kim Petras and Jay Park. She premiered the A.G. Cook and Life Sim-produced track on Beats 1 with Zane Lowe on Monday.
"I just love collaborating and I love you know when artists get to do like their own things on tracks," Charli told Zane Lowe about Pop 2. "That's the whole thing about this mixtape, it’s not really like necessarily about me, it's about everybody having their moment to shine and that's why when me and A.G. were putting this together we just wanted as many collaborations as possible from all parts of world. All different music scenes. It just felt very us."
