This rapper reportedly robbed a Wingstop to get Rick Ross’s attention

“Fiendin’ lemon pepper, I got my thing cocked.”

A man accused of robbing a Wingstop in Memphis, Tennessee reportedly told police that he is an aspiring rapper, and hoped the robbery would get him on Rick Ross's radar. Ross is the founder of hip-hop label Maybach Music and owns 25 Wingstop franchises around the United States, including the targeted location in Memphis.

The incident occurred last Friday, and on Monday police received a tip identifying 23-year-old Cedric Miller. A Wingstop employee who witnessed the robbery identified Miller as the culprit from a line-up, leading to his arrest. Elma Allen, the Wingstop's general manager, told police Miller's motive behind the alleged robbery.
