Yung Lean revealed during a recent interview with Complex that he's begun work on a film script and has an idea for another movie.

The first film is "a strange gangster drama" which Lean says he's written two drafts of. "But it hasn’t gone far enough yet. It’s mostly just ideas." His second film concept is inspired by a song from the rock mockumentary Spinal Tap. "They have this rock opera about Jack the Ripper called ‘[Saucy] Jack’. There’s a serial killer in Sweden called the Laser Man so I would like to do a rock opera about the Laser Man."

John Ausonius a.k.a. The Laser Man shot eleven people between August 1991 to January 1992 in Stockholm. He blamed immigrants for Sweden's poor economy and targeted them in his shootings.

Yung Lean also mentioned that he also hoped to get into acting and release ten rap projects under his hip-hop alias. "After ten albums I can reevaluate my life. Maybe then I’ll settle down." For his latest album Stranger, Yung Lean shared a two-part eponymous short film.
