Earlier this week, Snapchat users noticed the app was running an ad that made light of Rihanna's domestic abuse at the hands of Chris Brown. The app apologized on Tuesday, but Rihanna, who had previously been silent on the issue, announced today that being sorry for such a thoughtless action wasn't enough. In a statement on Instagram, Rihanna was final: "Throw the whole app-oligy away."

It turns out that more of an order than suggestion, and now, just a few hours after her post went live, Rihanna is basically ending Snapchat. Their stock has plummeted by nearly 4 percent, and fans are publicly deleting the app in support.

Rihanna also dropped her latest collaboration with Puma today. Their stock is up.
