Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have welcomed a second baby boy into the world, TMZ reports. Sources told TMZ that the child was born on August 3, and that his name starts with an “R,” like those of his parents (whose given names are Robyn Rihanna Fenty and Rakim Athelaston Mayers) and his older brother, RZA Athelston Mayers, born last year on May 13. The FADER has reached out to representatives of Rihanna and Rocky for independent confirmation.
Rihanna announced her second pregnancy in February, confirming widespread speculation from viewers of her Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show. Two days later, in an interview with Vogue, she insisted that she’d still be releasing a solo album this year, calling the prospect of Planet Earth spinning into 2024 with out a new Rihanna project “ridiculous.” The record has yet to be officially announced.
