Musician files lawsuit over Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’s “Side to Side”

TMZ reported that a texan musician named Christopher R. O'Connor is suing UMG over Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj's reggae-tinged bop "Side to Side" which he claims took from a song of his named "J5 (T6)." UMG reportedly asked him to send a demo of the song in question; O'Connor also claims that the song was written before "Side to Side" and is asking for a songwriting credit and royalties.
