Cardi B has broken an Apple Music record with her debut album being streamed over 100m times in a week, The Verge reports. The data was given to the publication by Apple and means that Cardi breaks a record for first-week streams by a woman artist on the service previously held by Taylor Swift.

In fact, Invasion of Privacy doubled the previous streaming record set by Swift’s Reputation in 2017. It is now the fifth most-streamed album ever on Apple Music. The album went gold immediately after its release thanks to the inclusion of "Bodak Yellow" on the tracklist.

Invasion of Privacy was released one week ago, April 6. Since then Cardi has revealed her pregnancy on SNL and co-hosted a hugely entertaining episode of the Tonight Show.
