L.A. experimental producer and master of the Roland SP-404 Ras G and his Afrikan Space Program have a new project for sober beat fiends and 4/20 celebrants alike: a new album called Stargate Music. Ras, who's released projects on Flying Lotus's label Brainfeeder and runs his own label Poo-Bah Records, keeps things cosmic and concise on the 11-track release, which he describes as "an astral ode to woman."
