Avengers: Infinity War is breaking box office records

The film has made than $250 million its opening weekend.

Avengers: Infinity War is the biggest movie in history. In the United States, the film made over $250 million it's opening weekend, breaking the record previously held by Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which made $248 million its opening weekend.

According to The Hollywood Reporter the film earned the highest recorded global total of $630 million, which it did without opening in China.The film is the 18th in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in phase three of what is planned to be a four-part roll-out. The film preceding Infinity War was Black Panther, also broke numerous records.
