No Malice addressed the beef after a user asked "how do you feel about Drake getting at your brother?" "I think it makes for good hip-hop," No Malice said. "This is an exciting moment for hip-hop, right?"

The statement comes after last week's revival of Drake and Pusha-T's longstanding beef. "Infrared," a song on Pusha-T's recently released album DAYTONA, referenced Quentin Miller, the rapper at the center of 2015's Drake ghostwriting scandal. Drake fired back the same day as DAYTONA's release with a response called "Duppy Freestyle." The song's bars play on No Malice's alias to call into question Pusha's first-hand knowledge of drug dealing, a hallmark of his lyrical content:

Your brother said, it was your cousin then him, then you
So, you don't rap what you did, you just rap what you knew
Don't be ashamed, it's plenty niggas that do what you do
There's No Malice in your heart, you're an approachable dude
