For the past three years, Mozzy has been one of the most consistent rappers working. In the past 12 months, he was featured on the soundtrack for Black Panther, and Kendrick Lamar quoted him during his acceptance speech at The Grammys, all while releasing loosies that showed a marked improvement in his delivery as he preps for the follow up to 2017's 1 Up Top Ahk.

The video for "Pure In The Pack," which premieres on The FADER today, finds the Sacramento rapper wandering through the Altamont Pass, a hilly stretch of freeway full of windmills just east of the Bay Area, under purple-tinged skies. "'Pure In The Pack" is just soulful, classical, gangsta music,” Mozzy told The FADER over email. Watch the video above.
