Listen to “Side Steppin’,” a new song by T-Shyne and Young Thug

YSL drip!

"Side Steppin'" is a rumbling new song by YSL signee T-Shyne, and the New York-via-Grenada rapper's first collaboration with his friend and label boss Young Thug. The pair trades characteristically inventive boasts and witticisms over a droning beat by Jon Castelli and Shy Girls, punctuated by rattling bass and skittery drums. The track is taken from T-Shyne's forthcoming album, The Immaculate, which features Max B, Slim Jxmmy, and Juicy J, in addition to Thug.

"I was in L.A. and went to meet Jon Castelli, who made the beat and mixed my whole project. I heard the beat and did it that same night. It just had a different vibe to it, like this weird sound. It was the first record me and Thug did together. I played him 'bout four songs and that was the last one I played — once he heard it, automatically he was like 'load that one up.' It’s dope to finally release it and let y’all hear it.“
