Phillipa Price announced today that she's the new creative director for Savage x Fenty, and it's a move we should all be excited about. As a visual artist, Price has brought her eerie, futuristic renderings across music and fashion, directing videos for Pharrell, St. Vincent, and Banks and going full-blown dystopian for Stella McCartney's short film The Uncanny Valley.
Price and Rihanna's creative relationship goes back to 2016 when Price powered Rih's unexpected yet completely electrifying sci-fi visuals during her Brit Award's performance, and the two teamed up once again for her color-drenched Grammy Awards presentation earlier this year. Price's addition to the Savage x Fenty team will likely bring an extra freaky, avant-garde edge to the line's visual campaigns, and we'll be waiting with bated breath to see what she comes up with.
