The trailer for Jonah Hill's directorial debut is here. Titled Mid90s, the film is a grungy, '90s-era coming-of-age flick about a 13-year-old skater growing up in a troubled home and finding escape through his skate crew. The film is produced by A24, who have also produced Lady Bird, Moonlight, and The Florida Project.
Illegal Civilization's Mikey Alfred spoke on working with Hill on Mid90s in an interview with FADER last year. "He just directed a film called Mid90s and I co-produced it. We shot that over the summer. I was there for a lot of the process over the past year — a lot of the script, I casted the whole movie, there's only a few people I didn't cast in it, and I just learned so much from him everyday."
