A previously unreleased Kanye West song made its way to the internet thanks to DJ Clark Kent, who posted the link to "XTCY" on Twitter in the early hours of the morning. “Sitting in the studio with my man and he said... ‘Clark, let that new “XTCY” joint go!!!’” he tweeted along with a WeTransfer download link, later retweeted by West himself, according to Pitchfork.
The song's artwork features West's wife Kim alongside the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters at Kylie's recent 21st birthday party, which makes sense considering the song's opening bars. "You got sick thoughts? I got more of ‘em / You got a sister-in-law you would smash? I got 4 of 'em," he raps.
