Kamasi Washington has released the music video for "Hub Tones" off of his monstrous third studio album Heaven and Earth. Watch it above. The clip is directed by Jenn Nkiru, who also helmed Beyoncé and JAY-Z's Everything Is Love stand-out "APESHIT."
The video focuses on a group of young black women standing on a stage, dressed in sharp green gowns, shiny, diamond covered headdresses, and a white-gold sash with "Nation Time" written in bold black letters. The camera begins with a close-up of one of the women, and slowly pans outward throughout the visual to include all three, as they dance in with a fiery-eyed focus.
Washington released Heaven and Earth — a double-disk that spans almost three hours in length — back in June.
