Hear St. Vincent cover Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day”

St. Vincent has been on the road again for a string of shows behind her latest project MassEducation, an acoustic reworking of the neon bombast of her 2017 album Masseduction. A few days ago, she brought her show to Brooklyn and was certain to pay tribute to a hometown hero while there. Her cover of Lou Reed's "Perfect Day" is sparse and dramatic, accompanied by Thomas Bartlett's characteristic piano skills. Watch a video of the cover below.
