Erykah Badu recently attended the 2018 Soul Train Awards to accept the Legend Awards. The awards show, which was hosted by Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell, aired tonight.

During her speech, Badu thanked her mom, remembered the late jazz trumpeter Roy Hargrove, and sent love to Diddy and his family as they continue to mourn the loss of Kim Porter, the mother of three of his children.
The singer also gave a performance of her song "Tyrone" during the awards show.
