Kodak Black scored his first no. 1 on the Billboard 200 With Dying to Live

Kodak Black has scored his first no. 1 on the Billboard 200 with Dying to Live. The album debuted at the top of the chart, earning 89,000 equivalent album units in its first week. The album tallied 5,000 traditional album sales. According to Billboard, "the set garnered 82,000 [streaming equivalent albums] units, which translates to 114.2 million on-demand audio streams for the album’s tracks during the tracking week."

Meek Mill's Championships remains at no. 2 this week.

Kodak Black released from jail in August. The rapper was arrested earlier this year after streaming on Instagram Live, showing what appeared to be marijuana and handguns in the presence of a child, his son.
