Jordan Peele has finally released the trailer for his latest horror film, Us.

Aside from the film's poster, which was revealed a few weeks ago, Peele has remained tight-lipped about what the mysterious film will be about. Through the newly-released clip, it is revealed that the film will center on a family who is haunted by doppelgänger versions of themselves.

During a screening of the trailer at Universal, the Oscar-winning director told The Hollywood Reporter that it was "very important" for him to "have a black family at the center of a horror film." He also added that, "unlike Get Out, Us is not about race. It is instead about something that I feel has become an undeniable truth. And that is the simple fact that we are our own worst enemies."

The film stars Black Panther's Lupita Nyong'o and Winston Duke, who play the parents to two children, played by Shahadi Wright-Joseph and Evan Alex. Elisabeth Moss, Tim Heidecker, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Anna Diop also appear in the film, which is set to release on March 15, 2019.
