St. Vincent is producing new Sleater-Kinney music

It could be coming in 2019.

January 08, 2019

Sleater-Kinney is the legendary rock band of Corin Tucker, Portlandia's Carrie Brownstein, and Janet Weiss. The band released its sixth album No Cities Left To Love in 2015 and announced in January that work had begun on a new project, albeit "very slowly." On Tuesday, St. Vincent tweeted a studio picture with the band. The tweet read "2019. @Sleater_Kinney produced by St. Vincent." Sleater-Kinney posted a similar tweet soon after. No release date for new music has been officially announced. The FADER has reached out for comment.
