Fiona Apple and King Princess team up for “I Know”

A new take on the When The Pawn slow burner.

January 25, 2019

Earlier this week, King Princess teased a collaboration with the one and only Fiona Apple. Now, the track is here, and it's a familiar one: "I Know," the closing cut from Apple's 1999 album When the Pawn Hits the Conflicts He Thinks Like a King What He Knows Throws the Blows When He Goes to the Fight and He'll Win the Whole Thing 'fore He Enters the Ring There's No Body to Batter When Your Mind Is Your Might so When You Go Solo, You Hold Your Own Hand and Remember That Depth Is the Greatest of Heights and If You Know Where You Stand, Then You Know Where to Land and If You Fall It Won't Matter, Cuz You'll Know That You're Right.

Though not exactly a new track, it's one of Apple's first offerings since her last album in 2012. Plus, she recently said in a vlog that she's working on some new stuff, so, fingers crossed. The collab also follows King Princess's 2018 debut EP Make My Bed. Stream it below.
