Ariana Grande will not perform at, or even attend, this year's Grammy Awards ceremony. Variety reports that the decision came after Grande and producers sparred over which songs she would perform on this Sunday's telecast. She was "insulted" when they would only let her sing her latest single, "7 rings," as a part of a medley in which producers chose the other song.

Grande's decision is especially noteworthy given how the Grammys used her image on a series of promotional billboards across American cities. She was only nominated for two awards this year; Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener and Best Pop Solo Performance for "God Is A Woman." On Friday, she'll release her new album thank u, next.
