YouTube will share its documentary on the legendary boy band manager and convicted felon on April 3.

Lou Pearlman was a key figure in the boy band craze around the turn of the millennium, managing huge acts like NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys. He was also a convicted fraudster, and in 2008 was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for his part in a $300 million Ponzi scheme (he died in 2016). His financial and musical legacies are the subject of the upcoming documentary The Boy Band Con: The Lou Pearlman Story. Watch a trailer above. The Boy Band Con: The Lou Pearlman Story will have its world premiere at SXSW on March 13, and will be available to YouTube Premium subscribers on April 3.
