Nipsey Hussle’s Victory Lap is no. 2 on Billboard 200 one week after the rapper’s death

One week after rapper Nipsey Hussle was killed outside of his clothing store in Los Angeles, the rapper's 2018 album Victory Lap is no. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The album re-entered the chart with 66,000 equivalent album units, according to Billboard. The album peaked at no. 4 when it debuted last March.

It was recently announced that Hussle's memorial service will be held this Thursday at the Staples Center.

Eric Holder, the man accused of shooting the rapper and two others in front of The Marathon Clothing Store, has been charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder. He pleaded not guilty during a court appearance on Thursday.
