Popcaan and Kranium heat up Amindi’s dancehall hit “Pine & Ginger”

Catch me this summer lounging to this breezy, spirited bop.

In January 2017, Amindi (né K. Fro$t) dropped the languid and breezy "Pine & Ginger" on SoundCloud. Little did she expect, the track blew up and became a hit. It brought the Los Angeles-based singer to Jamaica twice, once to film the music video, and another to perform it with Tessellated and Valleyz, who join her on the track. In an interview with The FADER last year, she said frankly, "You would have no idea who I was if “Pine & Ginger” didn't exist."

Two years later, and the track is still giving. Today, The FADER is premiering the remix which features collaborations with Jamaica's biggest dancehall stars Popcaan and Kranium, who drench the track in more carefree, spirited energy than I thought possible. Catch me this summer with this on loop, a pine and ginger in hand!
