Do you ever look at an audience full of adoring fans, whether for musicians, celebrities, or a politician, and wonder to yourself: how many people in the crowd would cut my heart out with a butter knife in exchange for a snotrag used by the person on that stage? No? You never think that? Me neither. Here's BTS performing live on Good Morning America for a bunch of people.
J-Hope, Suga, RM, V, Jin, Jungkook, and Jimin took the stage on Wednesday morning for energetic renditions of two of their big hits “Boy With Luv” and “Fire." The songs appear on the Korean pop group's new album Map of the Soul: Persona — the album made history when it became BTS's third number one, tying with The Beatles. Asked about this during an interview before their performances, BTS's RM stayed humble. "We’re all fanboys of [the] Beatles, of course. I mean, who is not? We feel so honored to be with the greatest names in music industry." Aww. Watch the interview here, the performances below, and read The FADER's review of Map Of The Soul: Persona here.
