Cardi B lost “millions of dollars” after cancelling shows due to surgery complications

Cardi B loves money, but at the end of the day, “health is wealth.”

On last year’s single “Money,” Cardi B basically summed up her life philosophy in one line: “Nothing in this world that I like more than checks.” Cardi absolutely loves money, and hates anything that stands in the way of her and her stacks. You can imagine, then, how annoyed Cardi must be at the moment considering she’s supposedly lost “millions of dollars” by cancelling shows due to complications with surgery.

“I hate cancelling shows because I love money, I’m a money addict,” Cardi told fans in an Instagram Live yesterday. “And I get paid a lot of money for these shows. I’m cancelling millions of dollars in shows, but health is wealth so I have to do what I have to do.”

Cardi's cancellations were due to complications she experienced after getting liposuction and breast augmentation surgeries. Watch the Instagram Live above. Her new single "Press," which she recently unveiled the cover art for, is due out Friday.
