Ben & Jerry’s has released a new flavour inspired by Big Freedia, as Pitchfork points out. ‘Big Freedia’s Bouncing Beignets’ is a vanilla and caramel ice cream that was available exclusively at an event at Republic New Orleans on the weekend. The Big Freedia/Ben & Jerry’s partnership was designed to create awareness for No Kid Hungry, a New Orleans-based not-for-profit that feeds underserved children in the city. Fans who attended the event also got to hear “Chasing Rainbows,” Big Freedia’s new Kesha collaboration.

While the flavour was only available at the event, a Ben & Jerry’s spokesperson tells NOLA.com that the company “hope[s]” the flavour will be available in stores soon. “We want to encourage our fans and Freedia’s fans to tell us how much they want it (the new flavor) on social media.”
