While awaiting the Walker trial back in March 2017, McIntyre fled house arrest. Additional lawsuits filed since have alleged that McIntyre shot and killed 23-year-old Mark Anthony Saldavir at a San Antonio Chick-Fil-A that April, and assaulted and robbed 65-year-old Owney “Skip” Pepe in Arlington that May. McIntyre was eventually arrested in Elizabeth, New Jersey in July 2017 — less than a week after his viral video "The Race" debuted on YouTube, which depicted him smoking next to his wanted poster.
