Chance The Rapper has posted a lengthy Twitter thread in which he appears to argue back against his belief that people want him to feel "ashamed."

Chance opened the thread by claiming that he's "getting this crazy feeling that people want me to kill myself," adding: "That’s not my vibe at all, but i feel the push." He later went on to say that "some people" were trying to shame him, though he didn't specify who or in what way.

A running theme of the discourse around The Big Day has been Chance's repeated declarations of love for his wife that crop up regularly across an album inspired by their wedding day. In his final Tweets, Chance said this feeling remains more true than ever.

The Big Day narrowly missed out on the No.1 spot on the Billboard 200. The album was outsold by Christian rapper NF's latest record, Perception. He will tour the album across North America later this year.
