Teejayx6 raps about scamming his granny on “Blackmail”

Each line on the Detroit rapper’s new song is wilder than the last.

By now you've probably heard about Teejayx6's activities on the dark web, or how he allegedly scammed fans that bought merch from his website, or seemingly got fake taken into custody at his first-ever show. Over the last few months, the Detroit rapper has become the preeminent viral star, bringing a How To Scam For Dummies storytelling approach to the darkest Detroit-style production.

As is the case on many of his songs, each line on "Blackmail" is wilder than the last, as he lists of his own granny and Carmelo Anthony among his scamming victims. In the video, which premieres on The FADER today, Teejay hangs out around Times Square and, at one point, accidentally drops his iPhone down a fire escape. When the music cuts off and he looks for the phone, you can hear someone in the background call it karma.
