A$AP Rocky is back with his first post-prison music release, a song and music video called "Babushka Boi." The clip, teased earlier this week, is directed by Nadia Lee Cohen, and dresses Rocky and his crew of bank robbers up in make-up and zoot suits inspired by the 1990 film Dick Tracy. It may just be a coincidence, but the outlaw-themed visuals come after Rocky was released from prison in Sweden just before being found guilty of assault (he won't be required to serve any additional time in prison after being incarcerated for a month await his verdict). The song itself dips back into one of Rocky's main influences — 90s Memphis rap — but it's still quite invigorating. Listen below on Apple Music.
