Face/Off is being remade by the guy who wrote the Sonic The Hedgehog movie

Back in 1997, John Woo directed Face/Off, an entire movie premised on John Travolta and Nicolas Cage getting face transplants of each others' mugs. Twenty-two years down the line, it's difficult to achieve that level of unprecedented ingenuity. But, hey, we'll always have remakes. And soon, we'll be able to face off with a new Face/Off: Deadline reports that Paramount is rebooting the cult classic for a new generation. Oren Uziel, who also wrote the screenplay to the forthcoming Sonic The Hedgehog film, has signed on for script duties, while Neal Moritz will produce. None of the cast has been announced yet, but we'll keep you fully posted on all of the face-snatching details as we hear them.
