Speaking about the cover, Del Rey told host Clara Amfo "I thought about sending her a screenshot of a list of preferred covers I was sent, which had about seven of her songs on it, so she wouldn't just think I was a mega-fan."

In addition to the Ariana Grande cover, Del Rey also performed "Doin' Time" (itself a cover version) from new album Norman Fucking Rockwell!.
Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey will soon be heard together, alongside Miley Cyrus, on the theme tune to the upcoming Charlie's Angels reboot.
On the same day she released Norman Fucking Rockwell! Del Rey revealed in a new interview that she's already begun work on its follow-up. That album is titled White Hot Forever and will be released "within the next 12 or 13 months," according to the singer.
