Report: Kamaiyah arrested after accidentally firing gun during movie screening
The Oakland rapper was reportedly charged with felony negligent discharge of a firearm.
Kamaiyah was arrested after accidentally shooting a gun at a San Fernando Valley apartment, TMZ reports. The alleged incident took place during a movie screening at the property. Nobody was hurt during the incident and Kamaiyah was bailed after posting $35,000 bail.
According to TMZ, the shot was fired by accident after Kamaiyah took a gun out of her bag and began playing with it. Though the incident was unintentional, police checked security footage and charged the rapper with felony negligent discharge of a firearm.
Kamaiyah's most recent mixtape, Before I Wake, dropped in 2017. Earlier this year she released new song "Windows" alongside Quavo and Tyga.
