In case you weren't aware, the Batman franchise is getting rebooted again. Matt Reeves (of Cloverfield and the recent Planet of the Apes sequels) is in the director seat this time, and production is due to kick off this summer. We've known for a minute now that Robert Pattinson has been tapped for the titular lead role, but there's been plenty of speculation as to who will don the Catwoman suit this time around. Today, Variety confirms that Zoe Kravitz has been cast in the role. She'll follow Anne Hathaway, Halle Berry, and Michelle Pfeiffer, each of whom have played Catwoman in previous iterations of the franchise.

Kravitz's turn as Catwoman in The Batman will follow her lead role in another reboot. Earlier this summer, she filmed the first season of High Fidelity in Brooklyn, a companion to John Cusack's 2000 film of the same name. Though the series was initially supposed to air on Disney +, it has since been shifted to Hulu.
