According to TMZ's report, Black will serve out his sentence at a federal prison in Kentucky after a brief transfer to a facility in Oklahoma — he served the first portion of his sentence at a federal prison in Miami. Black has spoken publicly twice about the alleged abuse he has suffered at the hands of guards and administrative officials at a federal detention center in Miami.

Black's release date could be complicated by a separate legal case: he still faces charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct in South Carolina stemming from an alleged 2016 incident.
