On the heels of Kobe Bryant's tragic death in a helicopter crash earlier today, the producers of tonight's Grammy Awards are reportedly "working quickly" to include a tribute to the basketball legend's life during the live broadcast, according to Billboard.

While details of what the tribute will include have not been revealed, Interim Recording Academy chief and board chair Harvey Mason reportedly led a moment of silence during an earlier, non-televised premiere ceremony.

“Since we are in his house I would ask you to join me in a moment of silence," he told the audience in the Microsoft Theater, a venue housed in the same complex as the Staples Center where the Los Angeles Lakers play. In the hours since the news broke, crowds have continued to gather outside the Staples Center to grieve.

Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna were among those who died in a helicopter crash on Sunday morning in Calabasas. While initial reports stated that a total of 5 people died, Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva confirmed that number to be 9, according to The Los Angeles Times.
