As an artist, DaBaby doesn't know how to keep quiet in any sense — the rapper is outspoken, plugged into social media, and above all, prolific. He has a tendency to release new songs unconnected to his most recent projects, and his latest loosie is "Shut Up." The video, shot by Reel Goats, is a behind-the-scenes look at the hustle that's required to maintain the momentum of a number one album (Kirk) and a slew of hit singles: Baby performs over a dozen shows over the course of Super Bowl weekend, finding the time to meet up and chill with stars like Diddy, Kanye West, Teyana Taylor, Shaq, and more. The song itself addresses specific criticisms that shadow Baby online, such as his sound's ostensible lack of variety and a perceived disdain for his fans. To all this, Baby just says "Shut Up."
